To identify the latest enemies, I am allowing you guys to use Religion or Arcana. At the risk of spoiling things, they are undead. Since undead can be created using arcane magic as well as divine, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that only religion can be used to identify undead. So, unless anyone has any objections, from here on either knowledge can be used for undead and such.
If anyone does have objections, or concerns about this rule change, let me know.
I made a mistake. Upon further review of my notes, I missed something in the room. There is a magic aura. I will be editting the main story thread to reflect that. Those who read it before, re-read to get caught up. Very sorry for the oversight.
If you guys are moving into the room, please move yourselves on the battlemap. In sem-tactical situations like this, I do not want to move characters into potentially dangerous or advantageous positions.
For the battle music, ignore the pictures scrolling. Chose it based on the music, obviously. Also did not want to use the same music over and over again, there are only so many different compositions of that song.
Something strange happened when I edited the second to last post (the one with the attack rolls). Rothgar got hit twice, one was a critical threat. I tried to make a new die roll for the confirmation, but it just moved the second roll up. As is, it looks like a confirmation and a miss. In the end it doesn't change anything. 2 hits=1 crit (2x), he failed the first fort save but he suceeded on the second fort save, and poison damage wouldn't be multiplied on a crit. So he should take damage from 2 hits, 1 poison effect.
I did not notice this error until after i posted the follow-up, which i would rather not change. So, unless there are any objections, Rothgar got his twice, no crit. I would edit the post to try and fix it, but that is what caused the problem to begin with, i should NOT have tried it the first time.
Suralle's rolls are the same, he got hit once and failed his fort save.
