eeing that Ravna isn't running away, Rothgar sighs and steps forward making room. Tessa, move up and heal Ravna if you can.Rothgar then cleaves into the head of the remaining creature with his axe. It is momentarily stuck as it penetrates too deeply, so he bashes it with his shield to get it off. The last vegepygmy falls in pieces to the ground with a dull, wet splat.
The room lies still and silent. Along the walls are shelves, or rather the remnants of shelves. This room would appear to be an old storeroom. Whatever articles were once kept here appear to be long gone. All that remains are the fallen vegepygmies, their former captive, and a jar on the floor in the middle of the room. In the stillness and silence of the post-fight chamber, the jar seems more ominous, like a coiled snake.
The Party recieves 2,000 (400 each) experience for the encounter.
The air appears clear of spores from the Russet mold currently. What would the party like to do?

With trembling, blood-stained hands, Ravna gropes for a healing potion and brings it to her lips. The haze of pain dissipates somewhat, leaving her clearer-headed. She winces at the sight of the bloodied and charred corpses of the vegepymies. There wasn't any other choice, she murmurs, as if trying to convince herself of the veracity of those words, and shakes her head. {Potion of Cure Light Wounds} e|p8tXfm1d8+3 The jar in the middle of the room catches her eye, but, suspicious, she hangs back from investigating it more closely, deferring to Rothgar to make the first foray. 1d8+3

Tessa moves in front of Surallel. Ravna, do you need some more healing?
While waiting for a reply she casts Detect Magic and glances around the room.

Tessa Tessa can detect five separate magic auras in the room. Most are located near the body of the lead Vegepygmy. One is emanating from the Dark Creeper, which is the strongest.

Darvan stands motionless for a moment, seemingly lost in thought. He then turns toward Ravna, gesturing toward the vial on the ground and says, "With your skills, can you insure that stuff does not harm us?" Looking around and seeing no other obvious exits to the room he states, "That battle may have alerted other beings, we should be careful we are not ambushed." Darvan then returns to the hallway and listens at the closed door there. Perception +3: +3 Wis kwuHCFO|1d20+3 1d20+3

TessaTessa detected 3 more auras, scattered on the floor of the room, presumably they are vials that the vegepygmy took from the Creeper's pack. There are 8 total auras in the room (excluding your party), and the strongest is on the Dark Creeper.

There is quite a bit of magic here. If she were in fox form her ears would perk, as she sets about investigating the sources of the auras. She is very careful not to actually touch them, in case there is some form of trap, but looks more closely at them so she can start to identify what they are.

Is it safe to approach the jar? A pinch of bittern and chalk could neutralize airborne dangers from the mold.1d20+10
